Mary Ann brings to each presentation her years of experience as a Psychotherapist in which her unique style of compassionate counseling has assisted countless individuals, couples and groups. Describing her approach to counseling as eclectic, Mary Ann has made a real difference in the lives of her clients.
Mary Ann is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Human Services from National-Louis University with Certification in Substance Abuse and Addictions. She has a strong specialization in Eating Disorders and facilitated a weekly Binge/Compulsive-Eaters group at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville for nearly two years. She has also completed PAIRS training which enhances her skills with couples. Mary Ann maintains a private counseling practice in Downers Grove, Illinois, assisting individuals, couples and groups as they explore relationships, addictions, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, anxiety, stress, co-dependency weight management,
emotional/verbal abuse and personal growth and other issues.
